Date Set For Brickyard 400

Kyle Busch will attempt to become the first driver to win the race three years in a row.

NASCAR and the Indianapolis Motor Speedway have announced the date for one of this year’s marquee events. Crown Royal Presents the "Your Hero’s Name Here" 400 at the Brickyard will be July 24 at the famed oval.

It will be the 23rd running of the race and be part of a weekend that will include the XFINITY Series Lilly Diabetes 250. Last year, Kyle Busch made history by "doubling up" and winning both races.

"NASCAR drivers always tell us this is a special race on the calendar and one they dearly want to win," said Indianapolis Motor Speedway President Doug Boles. "We’re already preparing for their visit this July and we’re excited to be in our usual spot on the calendar for 2017."
