Damien Center Names New CEO

The board of directors for the Indianapolis-based Damien Center has named a new chief executive officer. Alan Witchey joins the nonprofit organization after serving as executive director for the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention of Greater Indianapolis.
The Damien Center provides HIV/AIDS services throughout the state. The organization says, in his new role, Witchey will begin the strategic planning process to decide the future of the center and what improvements can be made to its existing programs and services.
Witchey is not a stranger to the Damien Center. He began as a volunteer in the 1990s and later moved to a full-time position. The organization says Witchey’s appointment "reflects The Damien Center’s commitment to continued growth and the empowerment of people affected by HIV/AIDS."
