Lebanon-based D-A Lubricant Co. has acquired Crystal Packaging, a contract blending company headquartered in Henderson, Colorado, the company announced this week. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Crystal Packaging provides toll blending and contract packaging services for a variety of industries, including automotive, petrochemical, and aviation.
D-A Lubricant, which manufactures a variety of lubricants and related products under brand names such as PennGrade and WearGuard, said in a news release that the acquisition will bring 40 Crystal Packaging employees under its umbrella.
“The acquisition of Crystal Packaging is a significant step forward for D-A Lubricant,” John Noal, executive vice president of D-A Lubricant, said in the release. “It enhances our manufacturing capacity, expands our product offerings, and optimizes our operational efficiency. More importantly, it strengthens our presence in the western U.S., allowing us to better serve our customers with high-quality, customized solutions.”
The acquired company is being rebranded to D-A Packaging LLC. Crystal Packaging Board Chairman Scott Vincent expressed enthusiasm about the transition.
“Joining forces with D-A Lubricant presents exciting opportunities for growth, innovation, and expanded capabilities,” Vincent said. “We are confident that this acquisition will benefit our customers and employees by providing enhanced resources, broader product offerings, and a continued commitment to excellence.”
D-A Lubricant did not respond to multiple requests for more information on the acquisition by Inside INdiana Business.
