Cummins to Make Expansion Announcement

Columbus-based Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI) will Thursday provide details on big investment and expansion plans. The manufacturer says the next phase of the plans will take place on the "Cummins Corridor" along I-65 from Seymour to Whitestown.

Cummins Chief Executive Officer Tom Linebarger will be joined by Governor Eric Holcomb, Columbus Mayor James Lienhoop, Greenwood Mayor Mark Myers, Indianapolis Mayer Joe Hogsett and Hulman Motorsports Senior Vice President Allison Melangton for the announcement, which will take place during Cummins Day at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
