Cummins Inc. has named Jonathan Wood vice president – components engineering. As an officer, he will continue to lead all aspects of engineering for components along with his role as engineering functional leader for the Cummins Europe Area Business Organization. Wood previously served as executive director of research and engineering for Cummins Emission Solutions. He has also spent time as executive director of research and engineering for Cummins Turbo Technologies, director of Asia Engineering for CTT and has held various technical leadership roles in product engineering and program leadership. During his career he has led product development programs in high horsepower, heavy duty and the mid-range turbocharger product lines.

Wood holds a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield, U.K. and is a Chartered Engineer with the Institute of Mechanical Engineers. Jonathan and his family reside in Huddersfield, U.K.
