Crouch Awards Eight Planning Grants
Leiutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs have named eight communities planning grant recipients. The funding supports communities to improve infrastructure, downtown revitalization, public facilities and economic development.
“These grants will allow communities to make significant improvements to the quality of life for their residents,” Crouch said in a news release. “These small steps on things such as infrastructure and water utilities make a huge difference for these communities.”
The communities receiving awarded planning grants are:
- The City of Attica, $35,000
- The City of Cambridge City, $40,000
- The Town of Hamlet, $39,600
- The Town of North Judson, $39,600
- The City of Cannelton, $20,000
- The Town of Elizabethtown, $35,000
- Putnam County, $45,000
- The Town of Veedersburg, $35,000
