The credit union says the freestanding building will replace its existing location in the Cornerstone Shopping Center in the Noble County city.
Construction on the new branch, located at 551 West North Street, will begin later this summer and is expected to open in early 2018. The full-service facility will include separate rooms for business, mortgage and investment services, as well as three drive-thru lanes and an exterior ATM.
"We are very excited to be making this investment in Kendallville and the surrounding communities to better serve our membership," Kendallville Branch Manager Amy Ballard said in a news release. "This demonstrates 3Rivers’ commitment to the growing and thriving Noble County community."
The credit union says the investment represents the eighth new branch construction in the past five years.
