The credit union says it will invest $5 million in the project, which is expected to result in more than 50 jobs.
3Rivers says the more than 16,000-square-foot building will include a branch with separate areas for business and investment services, as well as a drive-thru and in-wall ATM. The mortgage center will include four conference rooms, private video conferencing spaces, and a community room that can hold up to 70 guests and will be used for financial wellness seminars, training, and community meetings and events.
“We are very excited to be making this significant investment in the northeast side of Fort Wayne," said Don Cates, chief executive officer of 3Rivers. "The state-of-the-art building will accommodate our growing team and provide a better member experience. Our mortgage team will enjoy a great new work environment and with more room to interact with members, realtors, and builders."
3Rivers has tapped local companies Bona Vita Architecture and Weigand Construction for the building’s design and construction management. The new location is expected to open in the summer of 2019.
