Credit Union Donation Creates Scholarship

The Bloomington-based Indiana University Credit Union has donated $250,000 to establish a new scholarship. The funds will support Indiana residents with a financial need wanting to attend Indiana University as an undergraduate.
IU Credit Union President and Chief Executive Officer Bryan Price hopes the scholarship will give Indiana residents a better opportunity to obtain a degree. "This scholarship program allows us to extend our tradition of supporting educational opportunities in our community," he said.
The donation is part of the recently-launched, $2.5 billion "For All: The IU Bicentennial Campaign." The university says the fundraising campaign aims to help provide the access to a world-class education to the best and the brightest students. The campaign is ongoing on all IU-administered campuses and is set to conclude December 2019.
