Craig Begins Tenure at Terre Haute Chamber

Kristin Craig has begun her official tenure as president of the Terre Haute Chamber of Commerce. Craig is the first woman in the chamber’s history to lead as president.
Craig’s leadership is starting off with accolades for Terre Haute. The chamber was named Chamber of the Year by the Indiana Chamber Executives Association earlier this month. The chamber was also recognized for the “Terre Haute Is All In” campaign as one of eleven organizations for “Best Marketing Campaign”.
Under Craig’s leadership as vice president, along with former President David Haynes who retired last month, new community-wide initiatives like West Central 2025 and work to establish West Central Indiana as a 21st Century Talent Region were established.
Craig has served the chamber since 2002. She attended Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, earning a bachelor’s degree in journalism, and a master’s degree in leadership development.
“There are so many good projects happening right now; so much opportunity and investments being made, this is a great time for West Central Indiana,” Craig said in a news release. “I am thrilled to be in a position to lead and continue the momentum.”
