Craft Distillery Growing in Indianapolis

Indianapolis-based West Fork Whiskey Co. has announced plans to grow. The craft distillery says it has secured private funding that will support added production capacity, a new rickhouse, longer aging capabilities and regional distribution in the Midwest.
The amount of funding is not being disclosed, however the expansion will add up to five jobs over the next two years. The company says adding larger distilling equipment and a soon-to-be-determined secondary space for the new rickhouse is part of plans to increase production volume by 12 times and expand retail distribution beyond its current 261 Indiana locations.
"Our goal has always been to make and share extraordinary craft whiskey, that uses only Indiana grains, with as many people as we can," said Blake Jones, co-founder of West Fork Whiskey Co. "We saw an opportunity to establish a unique company in a growing, historic area, and this investment allows us the opportunity to showcase how great Indiana whiskey truly is while playing our part in the local community."
The company says it will continue to supply more retail locations, bars, and restaurants throughout Indiana.
