Cook Animal Health Reaches Distribution Deal

Cook Medical is headquartered in Bloomington, IN.

Bloomington-based Cook Animal Health has announced a new distribution agreement. The Cook Medical affiliate says the deal with Kentucky-based MILA International Inc. will allow the sale of its 100-device portfolio to veterinary clinics and schools throughout the nation.

Cook Animal Health Vice President of Business Development Chris Cochran calls it "an exciting venture" and says "for 52 years, Cook Medical’s medical devices have been used to help patients around the world. We’re excited to partner with MILA International to combine our years of expertise in medical devices with MILA’s knowledge of the veterinary field."

MILA International has specialized in manufacturing and distribution in the veterinary industry for nearly 25 years. MILA President Deni Michels says his company has admired Cook’s work in the human sector of the medical device industry. "We’re thrilled that, through this partnership, the same critical medical devices will be brought to the veterinary community."
