Convoy of Hope Coming to Indy

Subscribe NowMissouri-based Convoy of Hope will stop Saturday at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to provide free food, goods and services to residents in need. The organization says it will have $1 million in offerings, including groceries, job services, health and dental screenings, veteran services, hot meals and more.
The event will include information, tools, training and advisory services for the unemployed and underemployed. The organization says the event is being done with the help of more than 1,000 local volunteers, as well as numerous local businesses, organizations and churches who will be offering many of the services featured.
Gates will open at 10:00 a.m. Convoy of Hope says all ages are welcome and no identification is required. The event is one of dozens the organization is hosting throughout the country this year.
