Continental Diamond Tool to Add Jobs in Allen County CDT opened in the early 1970s in New Haven.

Continental Diamond Tool, a global provider of superabrasive grinding wheels and custom tooling, says it will expand its operation in Allen County, adding up to 225 jobs over the next four years. The company says it will invest $5.5 million into the expansion, which will add to manufacturing and research and development labs at its current New Haven operation.

In a news release, Indiana Economic Development Corporation President Elaine Bedel said the expansion is an important commitment from a long-time northeast Indiana manufacturer.  “We’re grateful for this family-owned company’s commitment to New Haven that has been contributing to the community’s economic vitality for the past 45 years,” said Bedel.

Continental Diamond Tool produces products for a variety of industries, including medical, oil and gas, automotive and aerospace.
