Evansville Teachers Federal Credit Union has broken ground on a $22 million headquarters. ETFCU currently operates 14 branches in southwest Indiana and has more than 340 employees.
The project is set to be complete next year. It will be located near its current main office, which will be replaced by the new location. The three-story, 82,500 square-foot building will include drive-up banking.
ETFCU, which was first formed in the 1930s, says it was number one last year in the share of loan market activity among all financial institutions in Vanderburgh, Warrick and Posey counties.
