E2E Convergence, which will be held on the IUPUI campus, aims to better align the needs of employers with college preparation. Indiana University Associate Director for Economic Development Joe Carley says the event’s ultimate objective is to give all students "every available opportunity to gain the proper skills for career success."

The conference will be held for the second time. Last year’s E2E Convergence involved representatives from nearly two dozen colleges and universities from throughout the state. The next president of Ivy Tech Community College, former Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann, will deliver the keynote address. She also serves as vice chair of the Indiana Career Council.
