Conexus Launches Online Database

The state’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative has launched a database to bring Indiana suppliers and global buyers together. Conexus Indiana says Conexus Icon will connect more than 6,000 manufacturers, state agencies, universities and small- to medium-sized businesses with procurement opportunities.
Conexus says the free database’s search capabilities and mapping tool simplifies the matchmaking process. Rich Murphy, program manager for Conexus, says the benefits of Conexus Icon are enormous.
"Global buyers have a window into the world of Hoosier suppliers through this database, providing untapped opportunities for business growth and development," said Murphy. "In comparison to supplier databases in other states, Conexus Icon sets a new standard and further differentiates Indiana’s business environment."
Conexus says the database also provides a community forum for various topics, including federal contracting, teaming interests, and general business topics. You can lean more about the database by clicking here.
Conexus Icon replaces the previous supplier database, Indiana Supplier INsight, which launched six years ago. Conexus says the new database was made possible through the Indiana Office of Defense Development and a federal grant to assist businesses and communities impacted by reductions in spending by the U.S. Department of Defense.
