Conexus Indiana has launched a survey that is part of a long-term planning process designed to help stakeholders maintain a lead role nationally in two of the state’s top industries. The organization says the survey and the strategic plans will "direct future endeavors" and support growth.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Howell says "Indiana’s manufacturing industry is experiencing the longest expansion of employment in state history and Conexus Indiana is committed to ensuring our continued success as technology drives major change. Our strategic planning process is an opportunity for us to consider how we continue to deliver the greatest impact and provide the best support for advanced manufacturing and logistics companies and Hoosiers in a new economy."
Conexus is partnering with Pittsburgh-based Fourth Economy Consulting and Indianapolis creative agency Small Box on the year-long project, which also includes one-on-one interview sessions with industry, academic and public sector leaders, as well as "design-thinking ideation sessions" that were held in July in South Bend, Lafayette, Evansville and Columbus.
