Conexus Indiana Announces Competition Winners

Conexus Indiana, the state’s advanced manufacturing and logistics industry initiative, has just completed its sixth annual National Collegiate Case Competition. Students from Indiana University, Purdue University and Purdue Polytechnic Institute-Anderson took home top prizes among 24 teams of competitors.

The competition encourages college students to use what they’ve learned in the classroom in a simulated real-world environment. This year the teams had to solve one of two advanced manufacturing and logistics business challenges.

The teams were judged by a panel of industry experts.

First Place Winners from IU:

  • Predescu Alimin
  • Mayank Arya
  • William Pack
  • Hanting Yin

First Place Winners from Purdue:

  • Hayden Phillips
  • Christopher Ghita
  • Tyler Spurling
  • Jackson Hahn

First Place Winners from Purdue Polytechnic Institute-Anderson:

  • Keegan Stewart
  • Jackson Vieth
  • Austin Bronnenberg
  • Andrew Oakley

The three first-place teams each won $5,000, with second- and third-place teams each taking home $2,000 and $1,000, respectively.
