Conexus Establishes Award in Honor of Andre Lacy

Indiana’s advanced manufacturing and logistics initiative is accepting nominations for the inaugural Andre B. Lacy Vanguard Award. Conexus Indiana says the award will recognize those who demonstrate the key qualities exhibited by the noted business leader and philanthropist, who passed away in November.
Conexus says those qualities include championship of the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries, advocacy for civic and philanthropic leadership, and a visionary perspective that challenges the status quo. Lacy served as board chair of Lacy Diversified Industries Ltd. and senior advisor to the Butler University School of Business, which bears his name.
"Indiana is a better place to live and work because of Andre’s leadership,” said Mark Howell, chief executive officer of Conexus. "Conexus is proud to establish an award in his name to recognize the next generation of leaders who are carrying on Andre’s legacy of positively impacting the advanced manufacturing and logistics industries and improving our state. We hope this award will create role models and eventually result in a powerful cohort of winners who will continue industry leadership."
Nominations for the award can be submitted through May 4 by clicking here. The winner will be announced June 7 at the Advanced Manufacturing and Logistics: Indiana’s Innovation Economy – Exploring Transportation Megatrends event in Indianapolis.
