van Niekerk serves as vice president of purchasing and supplier quality for Allison Transmission. Prior to that, she was the vice president of purchasing for Navistar Inc. truck division and has over 20 years of experience in the heavy duty transportation and the advanced manufacturing industry. Van Niekerk holds a bachelor’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
