Pittsburgh-based Carmeuse Lime and Stone is planning to expand its operations in Gary and add at least 100 jobs. The company is looking to develop an “engineered fuel” technology facility in a new industrial park.

WHAT: Carmeuse Lime selected the City of Gary to expand its operations and develop an “engineered fuel” technology facility which will result in at least 100 new good-paying jobs and an infusion of $250,000 in workforce development funds. This project is the first development in the newly established Industrial Park in Gary.
