Data management firm OnlineTech is looking to spend more than $10 million in upgrades and add at least 10 jobs by 2018. OSP Group LP plans to invest $7.5 million in a clothing distribution and fulfillment center and retain more than 600 positions. OSP Group says, without the proposed investment in its Indianapolis facility, that center would likely shut down and consolidate with one of the company's other locations in the Midwest. OSP purchased the 900,000 square-foot property, most recently known as Redcats USA, in 2013.
Michigan-based OnlineTech provides services to customers in sectors including health care, real estate and manufacturing. The Indianapolis facility would be the company's first location outside of Michigan.
The proposals are set to come before the Indianapolis Metropolitan Development Commission during its Wednesday meeting. If approved, the requests could come for a final vote next month.
