Munster-based Community Healthcare System is planning to build an immediate care and medical services center that will replace an existing, smaller urgent care location in the community. The 32,000-square foot structure will offer a walk-in clinic, as well as imaging services and a variety of physician offices.
The health system says the expansion is needed to keep up population growth in northwest Indiana.
Once the new facility opens, the existing location on 45th Street will be converted into physician office space.
The new Munster Immediate Care Center is scheduled to open in October 2023.
