Community Healthcare hosting recruitment fair

Munster-based Community Healthcare System will Wednesday host a career fair to fill a variety of positions at its four northwest Indiana hospitals. Some of the available jobs include nursing assistants, respiratory therapists and surgery techs.

The Nursing and Allied Health Career Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Center for Visual and Performing Arts, located at 1040 Ridge Road in Munster.

Community Healthcare said additional open positions include imaging services, laboratory services, medical assistants, mental health workers, registered nurses, and therapy survices.

The health system is encouraging upcoming graduates to attend the career fair, which will have on-the-spot interviews.

Community Healthcare System operates Community Hospital in Munster, St. Catherine Hospital in East Chicago, St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart, and Community Stroke & Rehabilitation in Crown Point.

The health system employs more than 7,600 people across its four hospitals.
