Indianapolis-based Community Health Network has named Karen Lightbourne community collaborations director for the east region. She previously served as the mayor’s neighborhood advocate for both Warren and Pike townships. Lightbourne also served as community builder for the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. She received a bachelor of arts degree in communications from Ball State University.

In her new role, Lightbourne will work to improve the health and well-being of communities through partnerships with local neighborhood, business and government partners.
