Community Health Network Appoints Executive Director
Community Health Network has promoted Priscilla Keith to executive director of community benefit. She has been with the network since 2013, most recently as assistant general counsel where she advised on diverse health care issues such as medical staff affairs, litigation, HIPAA privacy, human subject and medical device research, regulatory and risk management, home health and physician enterprise matters. In her new role, Keith is responsible for strategy and implementation of the Network’s Community Benefits program, will ensure compliance of state and federal governmental community benefit mandates, and support legislative and public policy advocacy to local, state and federal government officials for issues that impact the network’s aspiration goal for societal responsibility in support of the Network’s mission. Keith previously served as executive director of the Hall Center for Law and Health and adjunct faculty at McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis. She also served as general counsel for the Health and Hospital Corp. and the Marion County Public Health Department, was assistant counsel to Governor Frank O’Bannon and was chief counsel for advisory and director, Unclaimed Property– Attorney General’s Office of Indiana. She also worked for Eli Lilly and Co. in Research, Environmental Affairs, and Clinical Research. Keith received her B.S. in biology from Spelman College, a M.S. in biology from Atlanta University and J.D. from the McKinney School of Law.
