Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Community Health network has selected Kelly Barton to serve as vice president and chief operations officer of Community’s north region. Barton previously served as vice president of clinical operations for Gundersen Lutheran Health System in Wisconsin.
Barton spent 15 years at Gundersen, during which the health system’s heart and orthopedic programs were ranked in the top 50 in the nation. Community says Barton will be responsible for strategic growth planning, execution and operational leadership in the north region.

"Kelly’s warm, engaging style is exactly what Community needs as we enter our next chapter. Her expertise and leadership will be invaluable in helping to enhance our organizational performance, and I am pleased to have her on our team."
Barton was also responsible for several areas in the Gundersen system, including oversight of the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders and the Center for Breast Care.
