Community Health Names Chief Nursing Executive

Indianapolis-based Community Health Network has named a new chief nursing executive for Community Hospital South. Anita Capps will begin her new role April 18.
Capps will oversee the hospital’s nursing services and operations in her new role. The health system says she will work with hospital leaders and the nursing team to enhance clinical performance.
"Anita is a results-driven professional whose collaborative leadership style has allowed her to create strong clinical leadership teams that focus on safety, quality and the patient experience," said Tony Lennen, Community South Region president.
Capps previously served as vice president and chief nursing officer at Munroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, Florida. She earned her associate degree in nursing from Indiana State University, and earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and master’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
