Indianapolis-based Community Health Network has named its first chief diversity and inclusion officer. Diane McDaniel will oversee the health system’s office of diversity and work collaboratively across the organization to enhance the depth of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Community says McDaniel most recently served as Indiana Wesleyan University’s inaugural vice president for diversity and inclusion, chief diversity officer, and member of the president’s executive council.

She developed the university’s strategic plan for diversity among faculty, staff and students.
