Community Health Centers Land Federal Grants

NorthShore Health Centers in Hammond and Portage received $378

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded more than $1.2 million in grants to four northwest Indiana community health centers. The funding, which is part of the department’s Health Center Cluster program, aims to improve operations and services at the centers.

The grants include:

Community HealthNet (Gary): $279,196
Regional Mental Health Center (Hammond): $245,758
