A group of educational, government and community organizations has formed a coalition in support of Indiana's Common Core academic standards. The groups joining Common Core Indiana include the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and the Indianapolis-based Lumina Foundation. According to a statement from Common Core Indiana, the participating organizations are:

The Interim Study Committee on Common Core Educational Standards is holding a hearing Monday on its research.
