Comlux America LLC in Indianapolis is laying off and furloughing dozens of workers. In a letter to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the aviation company says the moves affect nearly 80 employees. Comlux says the furloughs began January 3. It intends to bring back the furloughed workers after two weeks, but says it is “more than probable” they will be permanently laid off.

The company sites a “work slowdown” as the reason for the moves.
