Comcast Seeks Business Competition Entries

Comcast Business is looking for Indiana startups and entrepreneurs to take part in its Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs competition. The company says regional and national winners can win cash and mentoring for their businesses.
In a release, Comcast Indiana Director of Business Services Rusty Dewitt said, "I get to work with our small business customers, and see the impact they have on the Hoosier economy. Hoosiers are innovators, hard workers, and incredibly industrious. That’s exactly what is taken into account when we decide which entrepreneurs get this award."
Entrants are asked for a 250-word essay submission detailing how technology could enhance their businesses. Entries are due by March 12. 30 regional winners will each earn $10,000 in cash. Six grand prize winners will earn an additional $20,000 as well as a trip to Philadelphia for mentoring and group sessions with business executives. The grand prize winners will include three startups and three entrepreneurs. You can find more information by clicking here.
In December, Comcast announced plans to add more than 100 new jobs throughout the state. They include field technician, marketing and sales positions.
