The company has begun piloting a work-from-home program as its 10-year lease on the building expires.
Public Relations Director Mike Wilson says allowing employees to work from home represents a "significant" savings despite the heavy cost of installing the at-home equipment.
"When we’re just spending what would essentially be tens of thousands of dollars to make sure that our employees have the infrastructure in their homes that they need, it doesn’t equal to the cost and overhead of electrical, lights, water, facilities management and everything that goes into having a building," Wilson told Inside INdiana Business.
Wilson says convenience for employees is another factor for the company not renewing its lease and testing out the work-from-home program. He adds those that may not want to work from home will have the option to transfer to other call center locations.
