Comcast Holding Hiring Event

Comcast says

Comcast is holding a large job fair next week at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The company says the event is part of its ongoing plans to add more than 100 jobs throughout the state over the next year.

The "Hoops & Hiring" job fair is set for Monday, February 1 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The company says most of those positions are in technical operations. It is also adding jobs in its marketing and sales departments.

Comcast says increased community need is leading to the new jobs. In addition to Indianapolis, the company is adding positions in  Anderson, Bloomington, Fort Wayne and Kokomo. The hiring is part of a nationwide effort by Comcast. The company says it plans to hire 5,500 new workers and add three new call centers over the next three years.
