Representatives from Comcast and Indiana Wesleyan University, Ivy Tech Community College and WGU Indiana will detail what they are calling a "major education partnership initiative." Education officials will also detail the next phase of the state’s "You Can. Go Back." program.
The press conference will take place at 10:00 a.m. in the Indiana Capitol Atrium. Those scheduled to speak include IWU Vice President David Rose, Ivy Tech Indianapolis Chancellor Kathy Lee, Allison Barber with WGU Indiana, Indiana Commission for Higher Education Chairman Dennis Bland, and State Senator Jim Merritt (R-31).
The state kicked off the "You Can. Go Back." initiative in February. The goal of the campaign is to help 750,000 adults in Indiana complete their degrees.
