Developers of a planned makerspace in Columbus now have a place to set up shop. The Republic reports the shared workspace will be located at the Columbus Municipal Airport starting in August.
The Columbus Board of Aviation Commissioners approved a lease agreement with Columbus Propeller Inc. for a makerspace that will be located on airport property. The publication says the two buildings are owned by the airport and currently leased to Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), which is leaving the space.
The lease runs through the end of July 2024, with options to renew. Click here to read the story from The Republic.
