Columbus Chamber Unveils Venture Award Finalists

The organization will unveil winners in categories including Entrepreneur of the Year and New and Emerging Business of the Year August 16.
The chamber says the Venture Awards aim to shine a spotlight on businesses adding jobs and wealth to Columbus. The event will include a keynote speech from Columbus native and serial entrepreneur Steve Booher. His most recent company, Smart Path Systems, has developed "precision-guided solutions" for commercial mowing, spraying and snow removal.
This year’s finalists include:
Entrepreneur of the Year:
Burt’s Termite and Pest Control, Inc., Natural Choices for Healthful Living, Simmons Winery/450 North Brewing Co.
New and Emerging Business:
Garb2ART Cosmetics, Pomp and Bloom, and YoMaMa Frozen Yogurt
Small Business Advocate of the Year:

The luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, August 16 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel and Conference Center in Columbus.
