Columbus Municipal Airport will use $2.5 million in federal funding to resurface one of its runways. Our partners at The Republic report the airport received Federal Aviation Administration clearance for the project earlier this month. The airport has two runways to work around most of the construction; however, both runways will close at the same time over two separate weekends.

The project is expected to take 45 days to complete.
