The team says practices will be closed to the public, with the exception of two off-site practices at local venues.
The Colts announced in January the team would no longer hold training camp at Anderson University, which had been the host site since 2010 as well as between 1984 and 1998. The training camp had previously been held at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology from 1999 to 2009.
"Anderson University and the people of Anderson have been incredibly gracious and enthusiastic hosts," said Colts Owner and Chief Executive Officer Jim Irsay. "The dynamics of NFL training camps have changed through the years, and more teams are staying at home. Last summer, with weather being a factor, we practiced only 11 times in Anderson. While our camp plans beyond 2017 are uncertain, staying home this summer should help us with future determinations."
The team says it will announce the dates for the 2017 training camp in the near future.
