Colleges in Indiana on ‘Military Friendly’ List

Nearly two dozen colleges and universities based in Indiana have been named "Military Friendly" by a national research organization. Victory Media Inc. bases the classification off of survey data on more than 10,000 schools throughout the country.
The categories with the most "weight" are: academic credibility, support on campus, admissions and orientation, graduation and retention rates, military student body composition and career outcome. To a lesser extent, it also considers factors such as government approvals, tuition assistance, flexibility and military spouse policies.
The Indiana-based schools on the list are:

- Ball State University
- Calumet College of St. Joseph
- Grace College & Seminary in Winona Lake
- Indiana State University
- Indiana Tech
- Indiana University – Purdue University Fort Wayne
- Indiana Wesleyan University
- Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana
- Manchester University
- Marian University
- Oakland City University
- Purdue University North Central
- Saint Joseph’s College of Indiana
- Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College
- Taylor University
- The University of Notre Dame – Mendoza College of Business
- University of Evansville
- University of Indianapolis
- University of Southern Indiana
- Valparaiso University
