The College Football Playoff has named Byron Hatch chief operating officer. He most recently held the role of assistant commissioner of championship for the Southeastern Conference and previously served as associate athletics director for business operations at the University of Arkansas. Hatch holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Arkansas and JD from the University of Arkansas Little Rock Bowen School of Law.
