Organizers of this year’s WestGate@Crane College Fair say more colleges and universities will be represented. The event, which is scheduled for September 29, will include schools from Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.

Organizers say Purdue University, Indiana University, Ball State University, Rose-Hulman, Franklin College and Hanover College have registered. They say more colleges and universities are signing up every week.

Organizers say more than 800 students and 25 colleges and universities attended last year’s fair.

“These students deserve to know about the opportunities that are available to them after high school. The participating colleges and universities have a lot to offer, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact this fair will have on area students,” Organizer Alexandria Jackson said.

High school and homeschool students are invited. Scholarships will be awarded to winning seniors who apply and attend the college fair.

The third annual college fair will be held from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at WestGate Academy in Odon.
