An Illinois-based college bookseller with more than 50 locations throughout the state has reduced its full-time work force. The South Bend Tribune reports Follett Corp. let go nearly two dozen full-time employees last month and is replacing the jobs with part-time positions. Follett Spokesman Tom Kline says the moves are part of an effort to have more staff members available during peak hours.

He also tells the Tribune one full-time job was eliminated at Saint Mary's College in Notre Dame and those duties will be divided among up to four part-timers.

The company operates stores on Indiana campuses including Ivy Tech Community College, Purdue University, Butler University, Trine University and St. Mary-of-the-Woods College.
