Cocktail Maker Plans Indiana Relocation, Growth

An Oregon-based pre-mixed cocktail and spirit producer says it will invest $9 million into relocating its headquarters and manufacturing operations to Indianapolis. The move, Blue Marble Cocktails and Spirits says, could create more than 50 jobs by the end of the year. Additionally, the company is looking at sites it says would house a new, permanent production facility in central Indiana.
Blue Marble Productions Inc., founded by Indiana native Alan Miller, currently employs eight Hoosiers. The company has already started production at a renovated, 18,000 square-foot space on the city’s northwest side, which will house offices, a show room and production warehouse. Plans call for Blue Marble to eventually produce 3 million cases of its ready-to-drink cocktails annually.
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has offered the company up to $765,000 in conditional tax credits. You can connect to more about the relocation and growth plans by clicking here.
