ClusterTruck Planning Downtown Indy Expansion

Indianapolis-based ClusterTruck is looking to expand its operations in the city’s downtown. The food delivery service provider plans to invest nearly $1.4 million to grow its headquarters and add 125 jobs by 2022. According to documents filed with the Indiana Economic Development Corp., ClusterTruck says the expansion will help accommodate demand and facilitate further growth.

ClusterTruck currently employs more than 80 people and says the new jobs will pay a minimum of $11.55 per hour. The IEDC is offering $1.5 million in conditional tax incentives for the expansion. 

A request for comment on the expansion from Inside INdiana Business was not immediately returned.

The company was founded in 2016 by Chris Baggott, co-founder of ExactTarget. Baggott appeared on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick in January to talk about his company’s aggressive growth plans for 2018, which includes expanding into 20 new markets.

In addition to Indy, ClusterTruck has operations in Cleveland, Columbus, Denver, Kansas City and, most recently, Minneapolis. Baggott says the company is targeting new markets, such as Charlotte, Atlanta and Fort Worth.
