CloudOne Appoints Chief Business Officer

He comes to CloudOne from BioStorage Technologies Inc., where he was a founding employee, serving as CFO and helping to steer the company over the course of 13 years through growth stage, global expansions and a successful acquisition by Brooks Automation Inc. Reffeitt will be responsible for overseeing financial, administrative and business leadership of the company and report to CloudOne CEO John McDonald. Reffeitt brings with him more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting, human resources, strategic and commercial development, shareholder relations, legal and administration, information technology infrastructure, facilities and real estate expertise. In his most recent role at BioStorage Technologies Inc., he set the strategic and financial direction from the company’s inception, positioning the global provider of sample management solutions for the bioscience industry for sustainable fiscal success and long-term economic vitality. While at the helm as CFO, he played an instrumental role in BioStorage’s expansion, both in the US, Europe, and Asia, securing financing to support international growth. Reffeitt holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in business administration. He is passionately involved in charitable causes, serving on the board of the Global Orphan Foundation and co-founding the Macy’s Hope Foundation. Additionally, he and his family are actively involved in Traders Point Christian Church.
