Fishers-based ClearObject Chief Executive Officer John McDonald has joined a prestigious group of technology executives. The Forbes Technology Council is an invitation-only network of leaders that can be tapped by the publication to provide thought leadership articles and tips on industry topics.

Forbes Councils founder Scott Gerber says "our mission with Forbes Councils is to curate successful professionals from every industry, creating a vetted, social capital-driven network that helps every member make an even greater impact on the business world."

McDonald says the insights gained through the Forbes Technology Council into the tech landscape will be "invaluable as we strive to accelerate the growth of ClearObject as an IoT systems innovator."

Members of the councils receive personalized introductions, access to concierge teams, peer-to-peer learning opportunities and use of a business services marketplace.
