Crews continue to assess damage from a tornado that touched down Tuesday in central Indiana. High winds and flying debris damaged a building and 200 cars at an auction facility in Plainfield. The National Weather Service confirms the storm produced an EF-1 tornado. Our partners at WTHR-TV in Indianapolis report the approximately 90 mile-per-hour winds hit multiple parts of Hendricks and Marion counties. No injuries have been reported.

The brunt of the damage was taken by the Cameron Meadows neighborhood, which straddles the county line.

Trees were uprooted, dozens of homes were damaged and six houses were deemed unlivable.

Cleanup in the neighborhood could take weeks.
